QuadCue is an app for Google TV, Android TV and Fire TV, a free iPhone app, and this website. We keep as little about you as we can. This page says exactly what that is.

What stays on your TV and phone

• Your service sign-ins. When you sign in to YouTube TV, Peacock, Prime Video, Paramount+ or another service, that sign-in is kept on your TV (and, where you use it, your iPhone). QuadCue’s servers never see your passwords, sign-in tokens or service accounts.
• What you watch. Your lineups, the games you play, your favorites and settings stay on your TV and phone. We don’t receive your viewing history.
• The phone–TV connection. Your iPhone talks to your TV directly over your Wi-Fi.

What QuadCue’s servers store

• Your TV’s id. A random-looking id derived on the TV (not its serial number or your Google account). It’s how a TV gets its free week and its subscription.
• Your TV’s model and QuadCue version (for example “SHIELD Android TV, 1.0.0”), so your account page can name your TVs and we can support them.
• When your free week started. The first time a TV checks in starts its 7 days; we keep that date so the free week isn’t repeated. We also note when a TV last checked in.
• Your email, the one you use at checkout. It is your account: we send sign-in codes to it.
• Your Stripe customer and subscription ids, your plan, its status and renewal date, and which TVs (up to 3) are on it.
• Short-lived records: activation codes (60 minutes), email sign-in codes (10 minutes, stored only as a keyed hash) and rate-limit counters.

These are stored with Upstash (Redis) through Vercel, our host. The TV checks in about once a day. While its end-of-week screen (Keep watching with QuadCue) is showing it checks every few seconds for up to ten minutes, then only when you press Check now.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.

This website

• Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics (page views, without cookies) and Google Analytics for page views and simple events. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga) to count visits; Google’s opt-out add-on turns it off in your browser. Analytics never include your email.
• Cookies. When you sign in to your account, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds your account id and an expiry, signed so it can’t be altered. That’s our only cookie; Google Analytics sets its own (above).
• Support messages. What you send through the support form (name, email, message) is emailed to us through Resend so we can reply.
• Emails. We send sign-in codes and replies to support requests through Resend, and Stripe emails your receipts. We don’t send marketing email.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run QuadCue for us: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Upstash (storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Google Analytics. We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

TV records are kept so a free week can’t start over. Account and subscription records are kept while you have an account and as long as needed for accounting, legal and security reasons. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices

You can see your plan and TVs in your account, remove TVs, and cancel. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete it, contact us through support from the email on your account.

Children

QuadCue isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we’ll update this page and its date first.
