Works on Google TV and Android TV (Android 9 or later) or Fire TV (Fire OS 7 or 8). Not on Roku, Apple TV, Samsung or LG TVs, or the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, Stick 4K (3rd gen), Stick HD (2nd gen), which run Vega OS. Check your TV.
This lets the TV install apps from outside the Play Store. On the TV, open Settings › System › About, highlight Android TV OS build (the last line) and press OK on the remote seven times. If it says you’re already a developer, you’re set. On SHIELD you can skip this.

Let Downloader install apps.
Press Back, open Settings › Apps › Security & Restrictions › Unknown sources and turn Downloader on.

Sign in to your services
On the TV, open Options › More settings › Accounts (on the iPhone: Settings › Accounts) and pick a service: YouTube TV, Peacock, Prime Video or Paramount+.
The TV shows a QR code. For YouTube TV and Prime Video, scan it with any phone’s camera and sign in with your own account. Peacock and Paramount+ sign in with the QuadCue iPhone app (coming soon). You only do this once per service.
Your password goes only to the service. No typing with the remote.

After the free week
The TV shows Keep watching with QuadCue, a code and a QR code. Scan it, or go to quadcue.com/a and type the code from the TV. $5.99 a month or $49 a year covers up to 3 TVs.
Updates install from QuadCue itself: when one is ready, QuadCue home shows Update ready. The first time, the TV asks you to let QuadCue install apps: select Settings and turn QuadCue on (on Fire TV it’s in My Fire TV › Developer options › Install unknown apps). You only install by hand once.
