On a supported TV or streaming device, start eligible live content, press down, choose Multiview, and add available channels in the builder. YouTube TV renders the multiview; QuadCue adds the planned schedule and operating workflow around it.
Build the custom multiview
Open eligible live content in the YouTube TV app on a television or streaming device. Press down on the remote, select Multiview, choose the content to add, and use the builder’s available categories to finish the layout. Eligibility still depends on the account, package, and live program.

Choose the active audio
Only one tile supplies audio. Highlight the view you want to hear; the active-audio indicator identifies the source. Select that tile to expand it full screen, then use Back to return to the multiview.
Know the device limits
YouTube TV says multiview is unavailable in web browsers and through AirPlay. Supported smart TVs, streaming media players, and supported mobile experiences can use it, although some older devices offer fewer customization options or reduced picture quality.
Combine the content your account includes
The current custom builder can combine eligible live content, including content across a YouTube TV plan and an add-on when the account has the required subscription. NFL Sunday Ticket and RedZone combinations retain NFL-specific restrictions.
What remains manual
The provider creates the picture, but a viewer still has to plan the day, watch state changes, choose the most important audio, rebuild layouts, and remove completed events. Those repeated operating decisions are the gap QuadCue is designed to address.

Build a multiview plan that can change
A useful multiview begins with eligible channels, but eligibility is only the first constraint. The chosen games should also share a meaningful time window. Filling a tile with an event that is nearly finished can create extra rebuilding work a few minutes later.
Treat the active audio as a separate decision from the visible layout. A low-priority game can remain on screen while a close finish elsewhere takes over the sound. That distinction is what makes a four-up view useful instead of visually busy.
Schedule transitions around start times and expected endings, then allow live state to override the plan when necessary. Overtime, weather delays, and long reviews are exactly why a fixed morning layout cannot manage an entire day by itself.
Keep a manual override available for unusual moments. Automation should handle repeated work while preserving the viewer’s final say, especially when the room wants to stay with a rivalry, celebration, or postgame scene.
